However, he said he was ready to hand over the government to any party that proved a majority of 113 seats in Parliament.

 

Here, the mutual tension between the political parties of Sri Lanka is not taking the name of lessening. Opposition parties rejected President Gotabaya Rajapaksa's appeal requesting the opposition to join the unity cabinet.
