The ongoing third round of meetings between Union Ministers and farmer leaders in Chandigarh continued till around 1:30 am on Thursday-Friday night. The third round of talks also remained inconclusive. No solution could be found in this also.

As soon as this meeting started, the farmers expressed strong objections to the use of force by the Haryana government and the police. The Union Minister was seen explaining to him on this. After this, discussion started on other demands including a legal guarantee of MSP. The Union Minister seemed to agree with the farmers on other demands including the Lakhimpur Kheri incident, but nothing was clear on the legal guarantee of MSP.

In the meeting, the Union Ministers immediately informed about the problems that would arise in implementing the legal guarantee of MSP but were not ready to step back from it.
