The decisive war is beginning in India as a vaccination campaign against the Coronavirus from 16 January ie Saturday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the country on the morning before the commencement of the vaccination campaign in India tomorrow or Saturday. It is believed that after addressing the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start a nationwide Covid-19 vaccination campaign through a video conference on the morning of 16 January. This will be the world's largest vaccination campaign.

The vaccination campaign, which proves to be the ultimate weapon in India's fight against the Corona epidemic, will be held daily from 9 am to 5 pm, except for the scheduled days for the regular immunization schedule. In the first campaign of vaccination, the corona vaccine will be given to the country's health workers and front line workers first. After this, the vaccine will be given to those above 50 years of age and then those within 50 years of age will be given Corona vaccine, who have diabetes, hypertension, heart, kidney, or any other related disease.

This will be PM Modi's second address to the nation in the last few months. Earlier in October, PM Modi addressed the country and reminded people to continue fighting the war against Corona, even after the lockdown was lifted. Let us know that before the vaccination campaign to be held tomorrow, adequate doses of vaccines have been sent to all the states and union territories.

Through this program, 3006 locations of all states and union territories will be connected through digital and 100 beneficiaries will be vaccinated at each center. This vaccination campaign will be carried out on a priority basis under the principle of public participation in which the first phase of vaccination of health workers and ICDS personnel from government and private sectors will be done. A digital platform called Co-Win (Covid Vaccine Intelligence Network) has also been created to run the vaccination campaign smoothly and monitor the vaccine delivery program.

A 24-hour and seven-day call center and helpline 1075 have been set up by the government to address questions related to the Covid-19 epidemic, vaccination, and its digital platform. Apart from this, sources said that during this time the Prime Minister can also communicate with some health workers from different parts of the country through video conference.

According to sources, officials of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Safdarjung Hospital in the capital Delhi have said that they are ready with all necessary arrangements for two-way communication. The Health Ministry said in a statement, 'The Prime Minister will launch the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination campaign on January 16. This will be the world's largest vaccination campaign. Therefore, after consultation with the President's Office, the Health Ministry has decided that Polio Vaccination Day, which is celebrated as Polio Sunday, should be changed to 31 January. '

Around three lakh health workers will be vaccinated at 2,934 centers on January 16 on the first day of the vaccination campaign against Covid-19 in the country. Each vaccination session will have a maximum of 100 beneficiaries. 1.65 crore doses of Covishield and Covaxine vaccines purchased by the government have been allocated to the states and union territories as per the data of their health workers.

States have been advised to organize vaccination sessions taking into account 10% reserve/waste doses and an average of 100 vaccinations per session daily. States have also been asked not to call more number of people at each vaccine center in a hurry. The Ministry has advised the States and Union Territories to increase the vaccination session sites and conduct daily operations so that the vaccination process can be stabilized and proceeded smoothly.
