CII recommended creating a separate investment ministry
The interim budget generally takes care of the financial needs of the intervening period after the Lok Sabha elections till the formation of the government. Giving its expectations and recommendations regarding the budget, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has said that the government should set a 3-year program for disinvestment and meet the disinvestment targets. Apart from this, the goal of the three rate structure should be achieved by including petroleum, electricity, and real estate in GST.
