Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja have been in the headlines for the past several months regarding their personal relationship. Numerous reports have surfaced alleging that Govinda has cheated on his wife. It's even been suggested that the two are about to divorce. Sunita has accused Govinda of having an affair, claiming that he is having an affair with a struggling actress who is using him as a "sugar daddy."
In a recent vlog, Sunita invited some journalists and spoke with them. During this conversation, she also revealed that she is ready to forgive Govinda.
Govinda is my childhood love.
Sunita said, "You may not know, Govinda is my childhood love. If he reforms and lives according to our wishes, I will forgive him. I don't want to hear all this news."
She further said, "This is not the age to endure all this. I am going through menopause. Every woman needs the support of her husband and children during this time because our minds become unstable. We need someone who loves us and doesn't stress us out."
What was Govinda's response to cheating?
In an interview with ANI a few days ago, Govinda addressed the allegations of cheating against him. The actor said, "When have I not been accused? The one who is accusing me is my childhood love. I have never been good at love. The love I am experiencing now is, according to some, old age."
Govinda and Sunita have been married for over three decades. They have two children: son Yashvardhan Ahuja and daughter Tina Ahuja. In December last year, Sunita admitted that Govinda was having an affair with someone else.
