Haifa Port: Adani Group won the Haifa Port deal, and will remain in control till 2054

Asia's richest businessman Gautam Adani is now in the process of giving a new identity to his business globally. His business is already spread in many countries of the world including India. Now he has made preparations to set the flag of success in Israel as well.

 

Adani's company Adani Ports has taken over the privatization of Israel's historic port in collaboration with Israel's chemical and logistics company Gadot in the highest bid. Now this port will be controlled by Adani's company Adani Ports for the next 31 years.

 

According to reports, this deal of Haifa Port has been finalized for about $ 1.2 billion. It is also being told that Adani Ports will hold a 70 percent stake in Haifa Port, while the remaining 30 percent will be with Gadot Group. Both the companies will be in control of Haifa Port for the next 31 years i.e. till 2054.

 

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has tweeted in this regard that we have won the tender for the privatization of Haifa Port of Israel along with partner company Gadot. Adani further wrote that it is a strategically and historically very important port for both countries.

 

Let us tell you that Israel had issued tenders for the privatization of the country's largest and historically important port of Haifa, and companies from all over the world were invited to bid for it. Gautam Adani's company Adani Ports along with Israel's chemical and logistics company Gadot (GADOT) made the highest bid in this tender and won it.

 

Haifa Port is a deep water port on the eastern side of the Mediterranean Sea. This port is considered one of the three largest ports in Israel. Its construction was started during the British era in the year 1922, and is being used officially since 1933 after 11 years. From here both cargo and passenger ships come and go.
