Helpline launched to monitor illegal cash flow in Delhi

New Delhi, March 15 (IANS) A helpline to register complaints against the illegal movement of cash here ahead the Lok Sabha polls was launched Saturday, an official said.

The Income Tax department said toll free number 1800 110 132 will be monitored round the clock by the senior officials.

Lok sabha polls will be held in Delhi April 10.

The department has also been directed to closely scrutinise distribution of money to people and to bring to notice if people are found to be carrying more than Rs.10 lakh, the official added.
