Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Varanasi on Friday for a two-day visit. The Home Minister, who reached Varanasi airport at around 4.30 pm, was welcomed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP State President Swatantra Dev Singh. He will decide the BJP's plan in the assembly elections in the concluding session of the election management team meeting of the state in about three hours of brainstorming.
In the evening, the election management team of BJP will decide its strategy before the assembly elections at Hastkala Sankul located in Baralalpur. Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister, BJP State President, BJP District President, and office bearers will attend this meeting. The Home Minister will inaugurate the first All India Official Language Conference of the Department of Official Language on Saturday. In the afternoon he will go to Azamgarh and will make election conch shell there.
Will be discussed in a separate session
In the first session, Union Minister and the election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan will preside over it. Amit Shah will preside over the second session. More than 600 office bearers will be involved in this and the top leadership of the party will discuss in different phases.
According to the party officials, the election management team will prepare the report of different areas and Amit Shah will discuss the upcoming strategy on that basis. The BJP, which is busy at the beginning of the election campaign by raising the slogan of 300 par in the state, will make its strategy from Purvanchal itself. The BJP's performance in the year 2017 in Purvanchal, which covers 33 percent of the seats in the state, was spectacular. In the three elections held from 2014 to 2019, it was because of Amit Shah's management skills that a clean sweep was made here.
