Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij has been found infected with the COVID-19 virus. He has been admitted to the Civil Hospital at Ambala Cantt. They were given a vaccine for indigenous covaxin (COVAXIN) being manufactured by Bharat Biotech to fight the corona epidemic as a trial only last month.

Bharat Biotech has clarified on Saturday after Anil Vije's corona got infected despite being vaccinated. Bharat Biotech stated that the clinical trial of COVAXIN is based on 2 doses, given after 28 days. The effect of the vaccine will be determined 14 days after the second dose. It is considered effective only after taking both doses of the vaccine.

Bharat Biotech stated that Phase-3 trials are double-blinded and randomized, where 50% of those participating in the trial were vaccinated and the remaining 50% were given placebo.

Anil Vij said in a tweet, "I have been found positive in the corona test and am admitted in the civil hospital in Ambala Cantt. All those who have come in close contact with me are advised to get their corona test done. ''

Significantly, Anil Vij was given a dose of covaxine on 20 November at a government hospital in Ambala during the Phase III trial of Bharat Biotech-produced vaccine covaxin to prevent the corona epidemic (Covid-19). Anil Vij, a 67-year-old senior BJP leader, was the first to voluntarily offer to become a volunteer to get the cocaine vaccine. The covaxine vaccine is being developed indigenously.

Let me tell you, the whole world is waiting for the vaccine of Covid-19 due to the increasing infection of the Corona virus. India is also involved in the vaccine race. India's hopes for its Corona vaccine (Covaxin) remain. India Biotech and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) are preparing this vaccine. Currently, the trial of this vaccine is going on.
