After facing two waves of corona and a long lockdown, people are now traveling a lot, but perhaps the arrangements are not fully prepared. There are long queues at airports. Very long queues were seen for security check at Delhi's T3 on Tuesday morning. It took up to an hour to complete the security check. During this, those who were getting boarding time, along with increasing their restlessness, also got into arguments with their security personnel. The situation became such that many passengers caught their flight while running. This is when the entire flight has not even started yet.

Let us tell you that from March 24 last year, commercial operations of domestic and international flights were suspended. Terminal 1 has since been closed. A limited number of flights started from May 2020, but only Terminals 3 and 2 were allowed to operate. It is expected that soon the flight service will be started from Terminal 1.

Record of a crowd of passengers in 24 hours at the airport

According to sources, 1 lakh 22 thousand 793 passengers took-off and landed from Delhi airport from 8 am on October 3 to 8 am on October 4 from 871 flights. Which is a new record as the highest number of passengers in a year and a half since March last year. The reason behind this rush is the relief from Corona and the festival season. People are going to their respective homes during Navratri.

These rules will have to be followed at Delhi airport

According to the new set of guidelines, all international travelers will have to show a negative report. They will have to upload on the website the results of the PCR test taken a maximum of 72 hours before the flight. Passengers from the Middle East, UK, and European countries will have to undergo a PCR test again on arrival at Delhi airport and those in final destination here can go home after submitting their swab sample.
