Gurgaon, April 2 (IANS) The AAP Wednesday released its Gurgaon election manifesto for the Lok Sabha polls, saying it was determined to battle endemic corruption in this business hub bordering Delhi.

Gurgaon represents the unity-in-diversity that is India, Aam Aadmi Party leader and Lok Sabha candidate Yogendra Yadav said.

The manifesto said those living in Gurgaon's high rise buildings as well as farmers and others in the Mewat region faced corruption at all levels.

All their problems would be resolved if the AAP candidate was elected to the Lok Sabha from Gurgaon, it said.

Yadav challenged all the candidates in Gurgaon to a public debate.

Asked why the AAP was not targeting Congress candidate Rao Dharampal, Yadav said: "The Congress is out of race across the nation. Rao Dharampal is fighting for the fourth position."

Haryana will vote along with Delhi April 10.

Meanwhile, both the AAP and the Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will hold rallies in Gurgaon Thursday.

The AAP's show of strength was meant to counter the "sectarian politics" of Modi, a party leader said.

While the Modi rally will take place in Gurgaon city, the AAP meeting will take place in Ghasera village that was visited by Mahatma Gandhi Dec 19, 1947.

The village is located about 45 km from the Gurgaon bus stand.
