Increasing cases of corona in the country are raising concern. More than 15 thousand cases are being reported every day for five days. Along with this, the number of active cases, ie patients being treated, is also increasing. There were 2 lakh 52 thousand 701 active cases on 31 December, which decreased to 1 lakh 65 thousand 685 on 31 January. That is, there was a decrease of 87,016, but by 28 February these have increased to 1 lakh 65 thousand 715. If the number of active cases equal to January were less in February, then this figure would have been 80 thousand.

 

More than 15 thousand new patients found in 24 hours

On Sunday, 15,614 people in the country were found corona infected. 11,291 people recovered and 108 died. So far more than 11.1 million people have been infected. Of these, more than 1.07 crore people have been cured. 1.57 lakhs have died. 1.65 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.

 

Corona updates

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has got the first corona vaccine. He was awarded a dose of Covaxin of Bharat Biotech. At the same time, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has also got the first dose of Covaxin.

 

In the Hingoli district of Maharashtra, it has been decided to impose a 7-day curfew because of the increasing cases of corona. It will remain in force till noon on March 7.

 

Restrictions in Pune city have been extended till 14 March. Schools, colleges, and private coaching classes will remain closed during this period. Between 11 am and 6 am, except for public service, any kind of public movement will be banned.

 

In Tamil Nadu, the lockdown was extended till 31 March. Here offices, markets, industrial activities will be operated at different times. The number of active cases here is 4 thousand.

 

The Odisha government has made the corona test mandatory for passengers coming from Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab. Accordingly, passengers coming from these states will have to go through the screening process at the airport itself. They will have to remain in isolation if found infected.

1. Maharashtra

 

On Sunday, 8,293 people were found corona infected in the state. 3,753 people were recovered and 62 died. So far, 21 lakh 55 thousand 70 people have been infected. Of these 20 lakh 24 thousand 704 people have been cured, while 52 thousand 154 patients died. There are 77 thousand 8 patients who are undergoing treatment.

 

2. Kerala

 

The Corona report of 3,254 people came positive on Sunday in the state. 4,333 people were recovered and 15 died. So far, 10 lakh 59 thousand 404 people have been infected. Of these, 10 lakh 5 thousand 497 people have been cured, while 4198 patients died. There are 49 thousand 416 patients who are undergoing treatment.

 

3. Madhya Pradesh

 

On Sunday, 363 people were found corona infected in the state. 243 people recovered and one died. So far, 2 lakh 61 thousand 766 people have been infected. Of these, 2 lakh 55 thousand 117 people have been cured and 3864 patients died. 2,785 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

4. Delhi

 

In the country's capital Delhi, 197 people were found corona infected on Sunday. 168 people recovered and one died. In this way, 6 lakh 39 thousand 289 people have been infected here. Of these, 6 lakh 27 thousand 44 people have been cured, while 10 thousand 910 died. There are currently 1335 patients who are undergoing treatment.

 

5. Gujarat

 

On Sunday, 407 people were found corona infected in the state. 301 people were recovered and one died. So far, 2 lakh 69 thousand 889 people have been infected. Of these, 2 lakh 63 thousand 116 people have been cured, while 4410 patients died. 2363 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

6. Rajasthan

 

The Corona report of 156 people was found positive on Sunday in the state. 102 people recovered. So far, 3 lakh 20 thousand 336 people have been infected corona. Of these, 3 lakh 16 thousand 241 people have been cured, while 2787 patients died. 1308 patients are undergoing treatment.
