IND vs ENG: Team India will play the fifth test against England in Dharamshala, know-how is the record here

The last match of the ongoing five-match Test series between India and England will be played in Dharamshala (March 7). The Indian team has achieved an unassailable 3-1 lead in the series by winning the fourth test match. Rohit Sharma and Company can win the series 4-1 by defeating England in the fifth test. At the same time, the team led by Ben Stokes can give tough competition to the Indian team in the last match of the series. Team India's record in Dharamshala has been excellent. India has played only one match here so far in which the team has won.

 

 

For the first time, the Indian team will be seen playing a match against England at this venue. In 2017, the match was played between India and Australia in Dharamshala. During this, Australia scored 300 runs in the first innings. In response, India scored 332 runs in the third innings. In the second innings, Australia was all out after scoring 137 runs while India won the match by scoring 106 runs in the second innings. India had won the match by eight wickets. Now the team will look to register a win in the last match against England.

 

 

The team will be announced soon

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) may soon announce Team India for the final Test against England. KL Rahul's return to this team is possible. At the same time, Jasprit Bumrah will also be available for selection. Bumrah was rested in the Ranchi Test to manage their workload. At the same time, KL Rahul was out of the next two matches due to injury in the first match of this series.

 

India won by five wickets

In the fourth Test against England, England won the toss and scored 353 runs in their first innings. In reply, India's first innings ended at 307 runs. After this, the England team was reduced to 145 runs in the second innings and India got the target of 192 runs. In reply, India achieved the target after losing five wickets. The match ended on the fourth day itself.

 

Jurel and Gill gave victory

For India, Dhruv Jurel and Shubman Gill made an unbeaten 72-run partnership for the sixth wicket. Winning runs came from Jurel's bat. He won the match by taking two runs. Jurel remained unbeaten on 39 runs and Shubhman remained unbeaten on 52 runs. Apart from this, captain Rohit Sharma played an inning of 55 runs.
