The cricket team of neighboring Pakistan, which had been groaning over the Indian Army's Operation Sindoor after the Pahalgam terror attack, was shocked by the Indian team's Operation Tilak at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday.

In this breathtaking final match, India's 11 warriors displayed such a game that Indians across the world swelled with pride. India defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets in the Asia Cup 2025 final, defeating Pakistan for the third time in this tournament.

By defeating the Pakistani team, India demonstrated that it now holds the supremacy in cricket. Thus, India won the Asia Cup for a record 9th time (7 times in ODIs and twice in T20 format).

Suryakumar Yadav Announces to Donate His Entire Match Fee to the Indian Army

In fact, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav (Suryakumar Yadav News) has made a significant announcement, saying that he will donate his entire match fee from the recently concluded Asia Cup to the country's armed forces and the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.

India won the Asia Cup 2025 title by defeating Pakistan by 5 wickets in the final played in Dubai on September 28, 2025. Afterward, Suryakumar Yadav wrote on Instagram,

"I have decided to donate my match fee for this tournament to our armed forces and the families of the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack. You are always in my thoughts. Jai Hind."

It should be noted that in the T20 format, Indian players receive a fee of ₹4 lakh per match. Thus, by playing seven matches, Suryakumar Yadav (Suryakumar Yadav donates match fees to the Indian Army) will donate a total of ₹28 lakh to the Indian Army.

During this tournament, the Indian team maintained a distance from Pakistan. As a result, Team India defeated Pakistan in three consecutive matches and captured the title.

The Indian team did not accept the trophy from Mohsin Naqvi

After winning the final, the Indian team refused to accept the Asia Cup trophy from Mohsin Naqvi, President of the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Due to this, the awards ceremony was delayed for about an hour.

Pakistan's Home Minister, as ACC President, wanted to present the trophy, but the Indian team flatly refused. Mohsin Naqvi stood on stage for about half an hour, accompanied by officials from the Emirates Cricket Board. The Indian team stood on one side, while the Pakistani team, which had been in the dressing room for a long time, came out and stood on the other side.

At one point, the winning trophy was even taken off the field. Finally, the presenter announced that India had refused to accept the trophy, thus ending the awards ceremony. Mohsin Naqvi then fled. The Indian team posed for photographs without the trophy. This is the first time a winning team has celebrated without the trophy.
