The third match of the three-match T20 series was played between India and South Africa in Johannesburg. In this match, the Indian team scored a huge score of 201 runs for seven wickets in 20 overs. Captain Suryakumar Yadav played a stormy century innings for India. At the same time, Yashasvi Jaiswal also scored 60 runs. By the 19th over, India had scored 193 runs for four wickets. Apart from Surya, Jitesh Sharma was at the crease in the last over.
It seemed that the score would cross 210 runs. However, Surya lost his wicket on the second ball of the 20th over. Then Ravindra Jadeja was run out on the fourth ball. In such a situation, the responsibility of hitting big shots on the last two balls fell on Jitesh Sharma. Jitesh also hit a big shot on the fifth ball and the ball went beyond the boundary line, but Jitesh was out and had to return to the pavilion. This dealt a blow to India's hopes of a bigger score. Team India could score only nine runs in the last over.
Actually, on the fifth ball, Jitesh Sharma tried to hit a shot just inside the crease. Fast bowler Lizard Williams was bowling at that time. The ball hits his bat crosses the fielder and goes straight for a six, but Jitesh gets hit wicket during this time. His foot hit the stumps and thus he had to return. Only two runs came on the last ball and thus Team India could score 201 runs for seven wickets.
