India taking Action against Pakistan's Proxy War: Parrikar

Lucknow, Jan 13 (IANS) Action is being taken against the proxy war waged by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir, and results will be visible in six-months, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said Tuesday.

"The government is very clear what is happening in Jammu and Kashmir. We have taken a stand..." Parrikar told reporters at a press conference here.

"I don't want to tell exactly action we are taking but the results will be visible in next six months," he said.

The defence minister's comments came hours after army chief General Dalbir Singh said Pakistan was supporting a proxy war against India in Jammu and Kashmir.
