In this context also our cooperation has become more important for regional security and stability. Today's summit has three main objectives. First, to make it clear that cooperation between India and Central Asia is essential to regional security and prosperity. Our second objective is to give an effective structure to our cooperation. This will establish a framework of regular communication at various levels, and among various stakeholders. Our third objective is to create an ambitious roadmap for our cooperation.

First meeting after Taliban rule in Afghanistan

Let us tell you that this is the first time that India and Central-Asian countries are meeting between the arrival of Taliban rule in Afghanistan and increased border tension with China.
