Schools will open across the country soon? The central government is preparing the model

Schools Reopen: The central government is working on a model to open schools for offline classes in a systematic manner, following all the protocols related to the coronavirus. Offline classes of schools have been closed in most parts of the country after the new Omicron variant of the virus surfaced. Due to the coronavirus (Covid) pandemic, students have been attending online classes mostly for almost two years except for a few brief periods.

 

A highly placed source said, "As the parents are demanding to open the schools, the central government is working on a model to open the schools following all the protocols related to Covid." Similar demands have been made in states as well, though another section of parents has been in favor of continuing online classes.

 

A delegation of parents led by epidemiologist and public policy expert Chandrakant Laharia and Yamini Iyer, chair of the Center for Policy Research, met Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Wednesday and submitted a memorandum signed by over 1,600 parents, in which schools There was a demand to reopen.

After the arrival of new cases, the number of active patients has increased to 22 lakh 2 thousand 472. The positivity rate of Corona has increased from 16 percent to 19.5 percent.
