Inspector General of Border Security Force (BSF) Kashmir Frontier Raja Babu Singh said that it has been received from intelligence agencies that 104 to 135 terrorists are ready to infiltrate from across the border into Ghulam Kashmir. Speaking to reporters during the annual conference held at BSF Headquarters Humhama, BSF Inspector General Raja Babu Singh said that after the ceasefire, there is peace along the Line of Control but with the help of Pakistan, terrorists have tried to infiltrate this site several times. . IG BSF said that the intelligence agency has witnessed terrorist activities in Ghulam Kashmir along the border. We are also procuring our drones to deal with this menace apart from using anti-drone systems.

 

Responding to another question, he said that during the last year, BSF has also seized 17.3 kg heroin and cash worth Rs 88 crore in areas along the LoC in North Kashmir. Apart from this, many infiltration attempts have been foiled.

 

Referring to the Taliban's occupation of Afghanistan, he said that it has not yet seen any clear impact on the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. All the security agencies are continuously monitoring the situation in this context at their level. There is no need to panic here. The situation is completely under control and safe.
