IPL 2021: Will Afghan cricketers Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi play in UAE? Sunrisers made a big statement

Following the ongoing political turmoil in Afghanistan, it was expected that the country's top cricketers Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi would not play for the rest of the upcoming IPL season. The remainder of the Indian Premier League season will begin in the United Arab Emirates from 19 September. Meanwhile, Sunrisers Hyderabad has confirmed that Afghan cricketers Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi will play for SRH in the 14th season of the IPL.

 

 

Sunrisers Hyderabad CEO K Shanmugam said, "We are not talking about what is happening in Afghanistan at the moment, but Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi will be available for the IPL. When asked when the Sunrisers Hyderabad team will go to UAE. In response to this question, he said, "We are leaving for UAE at the end of this month on 31st August."

Last month, the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the schedule of the remaining matches of IPL 2021 which will be held in the UAE. During this 31 matches will be played in 27 days. This is the 14th season of the IPL which was postponed due to the coronavirus epidemic. The first match of the second season of IPL 2021 will be played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
