According to Skymet Weather, Southwest Monsoon will start retreating from parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Kutch in the next 24 hours, but a low-pressure area is persisting along North Odisha and West Bengal coast. By this evening, it will turn into a deep low-pressure area and move in a northwest direction over North Odisha and West Bengal coast. Similarly, a monsoon trough extends from Ganganagar, Sikar in Rajasthan to Gwalior, Satna, Ambikapur in Madhya Pradesh, and Jamshedpur in Jharkhand to the southeast Bay of Bengal. At the same time, a cyclonic circulation remains over the central part of South Uttar Pradesh. Due to these weather systems, light to heavy rains may occur over all these states and adjoining states.
