Earthquake in Delhi NCR : Amidst the strong tremors of the earthquake, people came down the ladder from the multi-storey building, seen in panic

Earthquake tremors were felt in many states of the country including the national capital at around 10.18 pm on Tuesday. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 6.6 on the Richter scale. People came out of their houses after feeling the tremors of the earthquake.

 

Please tell us that the tremors of the earthquake were so strong that people came out of their homes due to fear. Earthquake tremors were also felt in Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir apart from areas around Delhi.

 

The epicenter of the earthquake is said to be in the Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan. According to the information, the tremors were felt for at least 30 seconds. The epicenter of the earthquake was 40 kilometers south-southeast of the city of Jurm in Afghanistan, near the border with Pakistan and Tajikistan.

 

Here, as soon as the tremors were felt, the people of Delhi and Noida came out of their homes and came out on the road, some came out wrapping their children in blankets. At the same time, a similar scene was seen in Ghaziabad as well. People came out of their houses from Dashasat.

 

Many photos and videos of the earthquake are viral on social media. Twitter users shared videos of ceiling fans and lights moving during the strong tremors. People claimed to have felt the quake in other states.

 

Strong tremors were felt in the national capital, some videos of which were shared on Twitter. A Delhi University student shared a video on Twitter, in which several students are seen standing outside their hostels on the North Campus.

 

A Twitter user from Gurugram said that she came down from the storey building via 11 as the building shook. In the video shared by the user, several people can be seen in a park below an apartment.
