Sri Lanka's young fast bowler Mathias Pathirana has been added to the team of Chennai Super Kings. He has been included in the squad in place of the injured Adam Milne. Mahisa Pathirana, who has been included in the team in his place, is a young fast bowler from Sri Lanka. The 19-year-old Pathirana was part of the Sri Lanka U-19 team in 2020 and 2022. Ahead of IPL 2021, Chennai had roped in Pathirana along with Mahesh Thekshana as a reserve player.
