IRCTC: India and Nepal will be connected through train, Indian Railways will run a special tourism train from June 21

IRCTC will be the first agency in the country to connect two countries through tourism train under the Bharat Gaurav scheme of the Railways. In an official statement issued by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, it was said that this train will leave for the journey on the Shri Ramayana Yatra circuit from New Delhi on June 21.

 

It is worth noting that this tourist train running from Safdarjung Railway Station will cover a distance of about 8,000 km between India and Nepal on the Shri Ramayana Yatra Circuit. This train will be run under the 'Swadesh Darshan' scheme, which will make passengers visit all the major places related to the life of Lord Shri Ram. Along with this, this train will also travel to Ram Janaki temple in Janakpur city of Nepal. Let us tell you that this will be the first time that tourist places of two countries will be traveled by tourism train.

 

According to IRCTC, the 600-person capacity train will pass through major places including Ayodhya, Buxar, Janakpur, Sitamarhi, Kashi, Prayag, Chitrakoot, Nashik, Hampi, Rameswaram, Kancheepuram, and Bhadrachalam. The name of this train being run by the initiative of the Central Government is 'Dekho Apna Desh'. Its objective is to promote domestic tourism. The first stop of the Bharat Gaurav tourist train journey will be Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama. Apart from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and Hanuman Temple, tourists will also be able to visit Bharat Mandir in Nandigram here. A safety kit consisting of a face mask, hand gloves, and hand sanitizer will be provided by IRCTC to all the people going on this journey.

 

Talking about the expenses incurred in this journey, it will cost about 65,000 rupees per person to travel to the places associated with Lord Rama present in the two countries. The Yatra will cover states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. It has been said by IRCTC that this journey will give a different experience to the passengers and adequate arrangements will be made for their security.
