This train will be run under the 'Swadesh Darshan' scheme, which will make passengers visit all the major places related to the life of Lord Shri Ram. Along with this, this train will also travel to Ram Janaki temple in Janakpur city of Nepal. Let us tell you that this will be the first time that tourist places of two countries will be traveled by tourism train.
According to IRCTC, the 600-person capacity train will pass through major places including Ayodhya, Buxar, Janakpur, Sitamarhi, Kashi, Prayag, Chitrakoot, Nashik, Hampi, Rameswaram, Kancheepuram, and Bhadrachalam. The name of this train being run by the initiative of the Central Government is 'Dekho Apna Desh'. Its objective is to promote domestic tourism. The first stop of the Bharat Gaurav tourist train journey will be Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama. Apart from Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and Hanuman Temple, tourists will also be able to visit Bharat Mandir in Nandigram here. A safety kit consisting of a face mask, hand gloves, and hand sanitizer will be provided by IRCTC to all the people going on this journey.
