America's top commander has said in his statement that the security challenges of India and America are similar and both countries are threatened by China. He said that the Biden government of America is not only cooperating in India's defense sector but also helping in developing its own industry sector in India.

The challenge of India and America is similar

Admiral John Christopher Aquilino, Commander of the US Indo Pacific Command, said that 'we understand the importance of our partnership with India and a lot is being done over time. We are facing similar security challenges. We also wish to work together since we are the largest democracy in the world. Our values are also similar and our people-to-people ties go back many years. I had also met my counterpart General Chauhan during the Raisina Dialogue and I have visited India five times in the last two years.

Indian-origin MP Ro Khanna asked the question

Explain that the US Indo Pacific Commander was answering questions on the security of the Indian Pacific from the members of the Armed Services Committee. During this Indian-origin MP Ro Khanna had questioned the Admiral, in response to which Commander Aquilino gave the above answer. Ro Khanna had asked that India and China had good relations after the colonial period and both the countries were emerging as the voice of Asia but after that the relations deteriorated and now China is treating its other allies in Asia like juniors. Used to be.

What did the American commander say about the quad?

Admiral Aquilino also mentioned the Quad but also said that the Quad is not a security organization and it is a diplomatic and economic organization. He said that India is an important ally of America and both countries often conduct joint exercises, including the Malabar exercise. America is cooperating with India in the security sector and is also cooperating in defense production in India. Important components of the C-130 helicopter are being made in India.
