After the violence in Delhi's Jahangirpuri on Saturday evening on Hanuman Janmotsav, the situation is normal on Monday, but tension can still be seen. Delhi Police personnel along with other security are also deployed to control the situation completely. The entire area is also being monitored through drones. At the same time, a forensic team has reached C-Block of Jahangirpuri for an investigation into the Jahangirpuri violence case.

Delhi CP Rakesh Asthana went to Jahangirpuri Police Station's Sub-Inspector Meda Lal on Sunday night to visit his residence. With this, the CP said that all possible cooperation will be given from the police department.

At the same time, it has also been said by the Delhi Police that the violence that broke out after stone-pelting on the procession on Hanuman's birth anniversary in Jahangirpuri has been completely controlled.  Ansar was accused of the violence and Aslam, who was accused of firing with a pistol, has been produced by the police in Rohini court and taken on remand for one day. Delhi Police have recovered three pistols, and five swords from these accused.

Vigilance increased in sensitive areas

It is noteworthy that immediately after the stone pelting on the procession, Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to the high officials of the Delhi Police and directed them to control the situation immediately. The police immediately took charge, preventing the riots from spreading to other areas.

Police patrolling has been increased with peace-loving people in areas dominated by a particular community.

Apart from this, senior officers of all 15 districts are holding a meeting with the Aman Committee and appealing to maintain peace and order. The police will be ready during the morning azaan in mosques. Special commissioner of crime branch Ravindra Yadav visited the spot late on Sunday evening. It is believed that the investigation of the entire case will be handed over to the Crime Branch.
