Jahangirpuri Violence Case: Before the riots, bottles were kept in sacks, and many revelations were made in the charge sheet

Jahangirpuri Violence: Delhi Police has taken cognizance of the charge sheet of the Jahangirpuri case. Delhi Police has made 37 people accused of this conspiracy. In the charge sheet, the police have added layers of conspiracy layers. However, along with 31 Muslim accused, 6 Hindus have also been arrested in this case.

 

According to the police charge sheet, some officials of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) spoke to SHO Jahangirpuri regarding the Shobha Yatra. Also contacted the DCP office of North West Delhi but permission was not given to take out the procession. Despite this, the procession was taken out. But the Delhi Police had made full security arrangements.

 

Who started the debate during the procession?

 

According to the charge sheet, the procession started from EE block Jahangir Puri at 4.15 pm on April 16. The Yatra was going peacefully but when it was passing near the B-C block market, a person named "Hasmat" started arguing with the people present in the procession. When the procession reached in front of the mosque of C block at 6 pm, "Ansar" was already present there along with his companions and Ansar started arguing with the people present in the procession. Ansar was accompanied by Tabrez, Alim Chikna, and his people. The debate turned into stone pelting and an atmosphere of riots was created.

 

 

Police warned the crowd

 

Delhi Police has written in the charge sheet that Inspector Rajiv, who was present there, warned the crowd and asked them to leave. After this, the control room was immediately informed about this. According to the charge sheet, the mob had guns, sword sticks, and sticks. The rioters were pelting stones. They were firing bullets and also vandalizing vehicles. During this, the rioters also set a scooty on fire. A total of 34 PCR calls were made on the day of the riots.

 

According to the charge sheet, people present in the procession started running towards Kushal Chowk during stone pelting. Stones and bottles were being thrown at them continuously. After this, people of Hindu society started gathering at Kushal Chowk and they also started answering.

 

Conspiracy the bottles were kept in sacks

 

It is recorded in the charge sheet that it has been seen in CCTV footage that before this violence, bottles were kept conspiratorially in 8 to 10 boroughs near the shop of one of the accused Babauddin. Which were used in the riots. According to the charge sheet of Delhi Police, accused Babuuddin was also seen instigating the crowd. He had tied his face with a handkerchief and he was going towards Kushal Chowk with the rioters. In the CCTV, Babauddin's brother is also seen with him, who has a sword in his hand.
