Heavy Rainfall: Sky disaster from mountain to plain – rain alert in many states including Delhi, UP, Rajasthan, know the weather condition across the country

India Weather Update: Due to heavy rains and floods in many parts of the country, life is disturbed. Disaster is raining from the sky from the mountain to the field. Rain has become a problem in many parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Chenab river is in spate in Jammu and Kashmir. There is a possibility of rain in Delhi, Jammu, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. Light to moderate rain may occur in some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, and Madhya Pradesh.

 

Apart from Delhi, the Meteorological Department has once again issued a rain alert for many more states including UP, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, till July 31, heavy rain has been predicted in the plains of Northwest India.

 

How will the weather be in Delhi and its surrounding areas?

 

The Meteorological Department has predicted a generally cloudy sky and thundershowers in Delhi and its adjoining areas on Saturday. An IMD official has said that the maximum temperature is 33 and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 25 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department had earlier said that the 'Monsoon Trough' or low-pressure area is likely to continue moving northwards gradually and due to this, rain activities may intensify in North India from Wednesday.

 

 

Rain in many parts of West Bengal

 

West Bengal's capital Kolkata and its surrounding areas received heavy rain for more than an hour on Friday. Due to this, the roads were filled with water in many places. There was a traffic jam in many areas. Water logging was seen in many areas of Kolkata. Due to this people had to face a lot of problems. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain again in West Bengal.

 

Trouble due to rain and floods in Uttarakhand

 

Heavy rain occurred in many areas of Uttarakhand on Friday. Teachers of an inter-college in Uttarkashi help their students cross an overflowing drain after heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rain in Uttarakhand for the next few days. An orange alert has been issued for the state. A heavy rain alert has been issued for Dehradun, Nainital, Tehri, Pauri Garhwal, Champawat, and Bageshwar, Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand.

 

People helpless due to rain in Jammu and Kashmir

 

People were helpless in front of heavy rains and floods in many parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Chenab river is flowing above the danger mark in Akhnoor, Jammu, and Kashmir. Many people living in low-lying areas have been affected by this. In the flash floods in the Poonch district, 30 people from several families were trapped. Army personnel rescued 30 people trapped in floods in the Chandak Bela area.

 

Rain created trouble in many parts of Himachal

 

On the other hand, heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh remains a problem for the people. On Thursday, there was huge destruction due to a cloudburst in Baga Sarahan Panchayat of Nirmand development block of Kullu district and Rewalpul of Chaupal. Many families have become homeless in this. At the same time, thousands of boxes of apples got stuck due to road blockage. The life of the people of the area is disturbed due to the continuous heavy rain. After heavy rains, a strong flow of water was seen in a drain in Lahaul Spiti. Many trees were uprooted here. There is a possibility of rain in many more parts including Gujarat, Coastal Tamil Nadu, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
