South star Kamal Haasan is in the news these days for his film 'Vikram'. The film, which was released on June 3, has created a ruckus at the box office and has also made many records in its name. Recently, Kamal Haasan went to Dubai to promote 'Vikram'. During this time he received the Golden Visa of Dubai and has become the latest recipient of a Tamil actor's visa.

 

Kamal Haasan met Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan in Dubai. During this, he appeared in a blue sherwani. He shared the pictures of this meeting on his Instagram account.

 

According to reports, Kamal Haasan was the UAE administration's first choice for granting Golden Visa in 2019. But the actors were not able to get it due to the Corona pandemic and other political and commercial reasons. Apart from Kamal Haasan, R Parthiapan, Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha, Mohanlal, Mammootty, Tovino Thomas, Dulquer Salmaan, Prithviraj, Amala Paul, and Venkat Prabhu have golden visas from UAE.

 

Let us inform you that 'Vikram', written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, will soon be available on the OTT platform as well. At the same time, the film is also doing very well at the box office. 'Vikram' has become the highest-grossing film in Tamil Nadu, breaking the record of 'Baahubali 2'. Suriya has made a cameo in this film, which has been well-liked by the audience.
