JK Result Class 8th: 8th class result was released simultaneously for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir, 96.6% passed

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (JKSCERT) on Monday released the Class VIII annual examination results. This time 96.6 percent of the candidates passed. This is the first time after the implementation of the uniform academic calendar that the class VIII result of all 20 districts of the Jammu and Kashmir divisions was released simultaneously. This time a total of 175547 candidates appeared for the exam, out of which 169564 were successful. The result of private schools was 98.58 percent, while that of government schools was 95.2 percent.

 

After the implementation of a uniform academic calendar, these schools are divided into soft and hard zones. In the soft zone, the exam was held from February 27 to March 10, while in the hard zone, the exam was held from March 24 to April 8. Out of a total of 175547 examinees, 88506 children appeared in the examination from the Jammu division in which 86132 were successful while in the Kashmir division, 83432 children out of 87041 were successful. The result of private schools was better than that of government schools. As many as 97932 candidates from government schools took the exam, out of which 93055 i.e. 95.2 percent candidates were successful. On the other hand, 77615 private schools took the exam and 76509 i.e. 98.58 percent candidates were successful.

 

 

There were 55380 examinees of government schools in the Jammu division, out of which 53230 i.e. 93.85 percent were successful. There were 42552 examinees of government schools in Kashmir division, out of which 39817 i.e. 95.81 percent were successful. On the other hand, if we talk about private schools, there were 33120 candidates for private schools in Jammu division, of which 32894 i.e. 97.84 percent were successful, while in Kashmir, out of 44489 candidates, 43615 i.e. 95.53 percent were successful. This exam result was prepared by the evaluation cell of JKSCERT.
