Lakhimpur Kheri Tikunia Case: Police has filed a charge sheet of five thousand pages, the hearing may start in a while

In the Tikunia case, the investigation team filed a five thousand-page charge sheet in the court on Monday. The first arrest, in this case, was made on October 7. Eight people, including four farmers and a journalist, were killed in the violence that broke out in Tikunia town on October 3.

Ashish Mishra was arrested on October 10

In the Tikunia case, 13 accused, including Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra's son Ashish Mishra Monu, are lodged in the district jail. Although Ashish Mishra was arrested on October 10, before that on October 7, Lavkush and Ashish Pandey, close to Ashish Mishra, were arrested. Both were sent to jail in judicial custody on October 8.

According to law experts, in a heinous case like murder, the investigator is obliged to complete the investigation and file a charge sheet within 90 days from the first day of judicial custody.
