Lawrence reached Delhi from Punjab after 4 and a half months: NIA detained him from Bathinda jail; Got 10 days remand

Lawrence, the main accused in the Sidhu Musewala murder case, has gone out of Punjab after 4 and a half months. The National Investigation Agency (NIA), which took Lawrence to Delhi on transit remand, presented it in the court on Thursday morning. Delhi Court has handed over Lawrence to NIA for 10 days. The NIA has charged him with involvement in terrorist and illegal activities.

 

According to the information received, the NIA has registered a case against gangster Lawrence under UAPA, a rule made for the prevention of illegal activities on involvement in terrorist activities. Its orders reached Chandigarh on Wednesday. After this NIA is going to take Lawrence in its custody from Bathinda jail. NIA will take Lawrence to Delhi and interrogate him regarding the terrorist connection.

 

NIA had registered cases against gangsters

 

Gangsters of Lawrence gang in the first FIR: Gangsters of the Lawrence gang were named in the first FIR. These include gang leader Lawrence, Canada-based gangster Goldie Brar, Bikram Brar, Kala Jathedi, Jasdeep Singh alias Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, Sachin Thapan, Lawrence's brother Anmol, and Lakhbir Singh Landa. They have been named based on inputs received from Delhi Police sources. Apart from the gang jail, they are running operations from Canada, Dubai, and Pakistan.

 

Patial, Neeraj Bawana, and Bhuppi Rana in the second FIR: The second FIR was done against the Bambiha gang and its close ones. In this, Gaurav alias Lucky Patial, Amit Dagar, Kaushal Chaudhary, Neeraj Bawana, Bhuppi Rana, Sunil alias Tillu Tajpuria, Baba Dhalla alias Gurvinder, who was running the Arminia Baith gang after the death of gangster Davinder Bambiha, have been included. Amit Dagar and Kaushal Chaudhary are the conspirators of the Vicky Middukheda massacre in August 2021 in Mohali.

 

Gangsters in touch with terrorist organizations, raids have also taken place

According to sources, central intelligence agencies have given inputs to the Ministry of Home Affairs that many gangsters are in touch with terrorist organizations. The Government of India has put these organizations on the list of terrorists. Together with these terrorist organizations, these gangsters can do target killing in India.

 

A few days ago, the NIA also raided the houses of these gangsters in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Chandigarh regarding this. Even some lawyers representing his case were raided.

 

Lawrence has been questioned in several districts of the Punjab

Punjab Police had brought Lawrence to Punjab in June after the murder of Sidhu Musewala. Since then, Lawrence is in Punjab only, and in more than a dozen cases the police of Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Moga, and Faridkot interrogated him on remand continuously. Now he was out of police custody in Bathinda Jail on judicial remand.

 

Threatened to kill Salman Khan

 

Along with his name appearing in the Sidhu Musewala murder case, gangster Lawrence has several cases registered in different states of the country. Including the threat given by Lawrence after Salman Khan's name cropped up in a deer hunting case.

 

Apart from this, Lawrence's name has cropped up in the supply chain of arms and drugs in various states of the country. Lawrence's links have also come to the fore in many terrorist activities. Which Lawrence either provided his henchmen or ordered weapons. For whose investigation the NIA has now decided to take Lawrence into its custody.
