The Delhi government has provided significant relief to the general public by increasing the availability of 5-kilogram LPG cylinders. These small cylinders can now be easily obtained simply by presenting an identity card; no address verification will be required. This initiative will benefit migrant laborers, tenants, and small families. Conversely, the direct sale of cylinders from warehouses within Delhi will be considered completely illegal.

The government has enhanced the availability of 5-kilogram LPG cylinders across the entire city. Strict Ban on Warehouse Sales

The government has declared that the direct sale of cylinders from warehouses is strictly prohibited and constitutes an entirely illegal act. Oil Marketing Companies have issued stringent directives to all distributors regarding this matter. Any individual found violating this rule will face strict punitive action.

Supply Normal, Deliveries Expedited

According to the government, the LPG supply situation in Delhi remains fully under control. The government has released data for April 4th, indicating that 114,679 bookings were registered on that day, while 131,335 cylinders were successfully delivered. The number of deliveries exceeded the number of bookings, clearly demonstrating that the backlog of pending demand is also being cleared rapidly.
