The film has left behind Ajay Devgan's Son of Sardaar, released after it, and has also made a big hit in the collection of Saiyaara. Being India's highest-grossing animated film, 'Mahavatar Narasimha' can break more records in the coming time.

 

The film was released on July 25

The first film of Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, 'Mahavatar Narasimha', is the story of Hiranyakashyap and his son Prahlad's selfless love and devotion towards Lord Vishnu. The film released in theaters on July 25 and is making a splash at the box office.

 

What was the worldwide collection of the film?

The film started with very low figures in India. On the first day, it earned Rs 1.75 crore, but later word of mouth played a big role, and on the second day, the film's collection reached Rs 23.1 crore. After this, on weekdays, the film earned Rs 7.35 crore and Rs 7.75 crore respectively. 'Mahavatara Narasimha' is performing the best in Hindi and Telugu as compared to other languages. The total collection of the film has now reached Rs 112.80 crore.

 

The film is not far behind in terms of worldwide collection either. Today, according to SACNILC, the film's collection has crossed Rs 140 crore. The film is close to collecting Rs 150 crore.
