Modi Cabinet Approves Computerization of PACS: Modi cabinet approved deregulation of the sale of domestically produced crude oil. Steps have been taken to ensure market independence for all exploration and production companies. Apart from this, the Union Cabinet has also approved the computerization of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS). 63,000 PACS will be computer-connected with a total budget outlay of Rs.2516 crore. This is said to benefit 13 crore farmers.
