Modi government's big decision for farmers - this year the prices of these fertilizers will not increase, also announced to increase the subsidy

Modi cabinet has taken a big decision for the farmers. The central government has decided not to increase the prices of phosphatic and potashic fertilizers for this year. Along with this, the government has decided to increase the subsidy on both of them. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has decided to withdraw the hiked prices of Phosphatic and Potash fertilizers for the entire year 2021-22. Along with this, it has also been decided to increase the subsidy on Phosphatic and Potash Fertilizers by Rs 438 per bag.

 

Earlier, an important meeting of the Modi cabinet was held. An additional Rs 28,655 crore subsidy was announced in this meeting for phaspatik and potassic fertilizers.

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) chaired by the Union Government has approved Nutrient Based Subsidy (NBS) for NP&K fertilizers i.e. Phosphatic and Potassic fertilizers for the period October 2021 to March 2022. rates have been approved. This decision has been taken at a time when farmers are continuously agitating against the bill.

 

NPK manure is also used for the good production of crops. Phosphate and potash are found in NPK manure. In this sequence, a big decision has been taken by the central government in the interest of farmers. The government has announced a net subsidy of Rs 28,655 crore on Phosphatic and Potash ((P&K) fertilizers. This will enable farmers to make available fertilizers at affordable prices for the sowing of Rabi crops. Begins in October.

 

In the cabinet meeting, fresh planning was done regarding wastewater management under the AMRUT scheme. 141600 crore has been announced for Swachh Bharat Mission 2.0. In this, the contribution of the Center is 36,465 crores. The first phase is from FY 2021-22 to FY 2025-26. For this, the government had announced a fund of 62,009 crores.
