Modi presents awards to Gujarati journalists

New Delhi, March 18 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented Batukbhai Dikshit Award to 13 Gujarati journalists on Wednesday, an official statement said.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (Wednesday) handed over the annual Batukbhai Dikshit Award of the Surat Shaher Patrakar Kalyan Nidhi to 13 Gujarati journalists," the statement said.

Modi congratulated the awardees for this honour. Some members of parliament, including C. R. Patil, were present on the occasion.
