The Indian team refused to accept the Asia Cup 2025 trophy from PCB and ACC Chairman Mohsin Naqvi (Mohsin Naqvi apologizes to BCCI). Mohsin Naqvi then stepped off the stage and took the trophy and medals straight to his hotel.

The ACC's virtual meeting on September 30th saw heated exchanges between the BCCI and the PCB, during which Mohsin apologized to the BCCI, but he remains adamant. Naqvi, who is scheduled to leave for Lahore today, October 1st,

 

said that he would hand over the trophy to the Indian team captain, Suryakumar Yadav, if he personally came to the ACC office to collect it.

 

The BCCI responded by saying that they would not come and collect the trophy. "They didn't collect the trophy when you were there, so do you think they will collect it now?"
