The IMD said that light to moderate rain is likely in most parts and heavy in some parts over West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand during the next five days. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely over Himachal Pradesh till June 29, East Uttar Pradesh from June 29 to July 1, East Rajasthan on June 29-30, and Uttarakhand on June 28-29.

According to IMD, Southwest Monsoon has advanced into most parts of the North Arabian Sea, the remaining parts of Gujarat, and has covered the entire Gujarat. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for Navsari, Valsad districts of South Gujarat, and the Union Territory of Daman and Dadar Nagar Haveli. Heavy to very heavy rain is very likely over the districts of South, North Gujarat, and Saurashtra during the next three days.
