The South District Police has busted the gang that made fake passports of gangsters and arrested five accused, including a woman. They were identified as Rahul Sarkar, Arjit Kumar alias Ajit Divan alias Ajit Kumar alias Tony alias Mahesh alias Paji, Navneet Prajapati, Somnath Prajapati, and a woman.
The accused had got passports of Sachin Bishnoi alias Sachin Thapan, nephew of Lawrence Bishnoi, the conspirator of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala's murder, and Anmol Bishnoi, brother of Lawrence. Sachin Thapan's passport was made by Tilak Raj Toteja and Anmol's by Bhanupratap. Both Sachin and Anmol had hatched a conspiracy to kill Sidhu Musewala and arranged for the shooters. He fled abroad before killing Sidhu Musewala. They used to take one and a half to two lakh rupees for getting fake passports. The gang members used to make passports for gangsters and other criminals only.
Atul Tyagi, the special staff in charge of the district, had received information on July 4 that Rahul Sarkar was in touch with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. After the information, a special team of SI Dharmendra and Mahipal was formed under the supervision of Inspector Atul Tyagi. This team arrested Rahul Sarkar in a car from Saket Metro Station, MB Road. An automatic single suit pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from his possession.

He had got Sachin Thapan's fake passport made at his home address in the name of Tilak Raj Toteja, a resident of Sangam Vihar. He came in contact with Arjit Kumar through a woman.
It was Arjit Kumar who had given him the contract to make fake passports for gangsters. For each passport, Rahul got Rs 1.5 lakh. For this, about a year ago, with the help of accused Navneet and Somnath, he had got a fake Aadhaar card made in the name of Tilak Raj Toteja, based on which fake voter ID and passport were made.
At the behest of the crook, Rahul Sarkar had started making Aadhar cards.
