More than 12000 corona cases for the fifth consecutive day: 12781 new patients found in the country, 4000 in Maharashtra alone, 18 deaths

Corona cases are increasing continuously in the country. 12,781 new infections were found on Sunday. 18 patients died. At present 76,700 are undergoing treatment. A maximum of 4004 patients have been found in Maharashtra alone. Kerala is at number two with 3376 new infections. A day earlier in the country, 12,899 cases were found on Saturday, while 13,216 cases were found on Friday. In the last 7 days alone, more than 66 thousand cases have come.

 

A maximum of 4004 cases were found in Maharashtra, and more than 3 thousand corona cases are being registered continuously in Maharashtra. The number of patients undergoing treatment in Maharashtra was found to be 23,746 and the positivity rate was 9.57%. In Maharashtra, 4004 cases were reported in the last 24 hours and one died. On Saturday, 3883 new corona cases were registered in Maharashtra and 3253 in Kerala.

Meanwhile, 3376 cases have been reported in Kerala. Active cases in Kerala are 21,571 and the positivity rate is 16.44%. It is to be seen that out of the total of 18 new people in the country, 11 have been registered in Kerala alone. Three people from Delhi and one each from Karnataka, Maharashtra, Punjab, and West Bengal are included.

 

Corona 1,530 new cases in Delhi

 

On Sunday, 1,530 new corona cases were found in the capital Delhi and 3 patients died. A day before this, 1,534 cases were found here on Saturday and 1,797 on Friday. Here the number of active cases i.e. patients undergoing treatment has increased to 5,542, which was 5,119 a day earlier on Saturday. The positivity rate in the capital Delhi has also increased to 8.41%, which was 7.71% a day earlier. The number of people who have recovered is 1,104.

 

In the last 24 hours, 18,183 Covid samples were tested here. Between June 10 and 15, more than 5,300 challans have been issued across Delhi and a fine of over Rs 26 lakh has been imposed on violators of the COVID norms.

 

Corona update of Karnataka and Haryana

 

In Karnataka, 623 cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours and 412 patients have been cured. The total corona infection cases in the state have exceeded 39.60 lakh. At the same time, 486 new cases have been reported in Haryana on Sunday.
