Mumbai: MP Shinde hit out at Uddhav Thackeray's statement, saying - dragging a child is following Hinduism?

During a program at Shivaji Park, Uddhav Thackeray targeted Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and his son MP Shrikant Shinde, saying that the CM's grandson will soon be eyeing the post of councilor. On Thursday, Shrikant Shinde wrote an open letter to Uddhav Thackeray, strongly condemning the remarks made about his son. He wrote that this letter is not from a Chief Minister's son and MP, but a father.

During his 45-minute speech at Shivaji Park, Thackeray said that grandfather Eknath Shinde would be the chief minister, father Shrikant Shinde MP and grandson would soon be the councilor. To which Srikanth said in the letter that I just want to ask you, is it following your ardent Hinduism to drag a one-and-a-half-year-old child in your speech? Did you feel anything while making such a statement? Late Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray was also fiercely critical of the opponents, but he never really made mean and wrong remarks. Never did he drag children into politics.

He wrote, Uddhavji, my father is the Chief Minister of the state, I am an MP. But at the end of the day, we are flesh and blood humans and have feelings. My family is shocked by your comment. The child's mother and grandmother are also deeply hurt by your speech. At the same time, tears came to his eyes. Can a civilized and sensitive person say so? He said, in the future, you will become a grandfather and you will like it if someone comments about you like this.
