National Weather Update Today: Snowfall may occur in hilly areas, forecast of rain in these states

Changes in the weather can be seen in North India from the beginning of December. In most states, mercury has been predicted to fall. Cold is expected to increase in many states including Delhi, UP, Bihar, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh.

 

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be snowfall in the mountains in the next few days. Meanwhile, the department has predicted moderate to heavy rains in the southern states. Let us tell you how the weather is going to be in different states of the country.

The cold has started increasing in the country's capital as well. The temperature may drop further in the next few days. At the same time, there was fog in some places in Delhi on Thursday morning. Also, the level of pollution in the air may worsen further. Whereas, according to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), the AQI in Delhi is in the 335 (very poor) category.

 

Weather will remain clear in Himachal till December 3

The weather has been predicted to remain clear in Himachal Pradesh till December 3. It may rain in the state only after December 3. Director of the State Meteorological Center Surendra Pal said that there has been very less rainfall in November in the last few years. There was snowfall and rain in the upper regions, but less than-normal rainfall has been recorded in other regions. The effect of less rain is being seen on the crop.

 

It will rain in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, scattered to moderate rain is likely over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Lakshadweep during the next 4-5 days due to an easterly wave.

 

Weather will remain dry in Uttarakhand

The weather is likely to remain dry in Uttarakhand for the next two days. During this, there is a possibility of a decrease of one to two degrees Celsius in the minimum temperature in the hilly areas. However, the minimum temperature in the plains may remain stable for the time being. There is a possibility of light to deep fog and mist at most places in the plains and frost in the mountains. There is a possibility of a difference of more than 15.1 degrees Celsius in maximum and minimum temperatures. Please tell us that frost can increase the cold in the mountains. On Wednesday, there was bright sunshine from the field to the mountain. Dehradun's maximum temperature was two degrees above normal at 25.3 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was two degrees above normal at 10.8 degrees Celsius.

 

Weather patterns changed in Bihar

The weather pattern seems to have changed in different districts of the state including Patna. There has been an increase in the minimum temperature in many districts of the state and a partial decline in many. There has been a drop in the minimum temperature of seven districts of the state on Wednesday. An increase in the minimum temperature was recorded in 14 districts of the state including the capital.

 

Change in weather will be seen after two-three days

According to the meteorologist, the fluctuating temperature will continue in the state due to the westerlies. No significant change in temperature is expected for the next three days. The average minimum temperature will be between 14-16 degree Celsius. After three days, there is a possibility of an increase in the cold with a drop of two to three degrees in the minimum temperature. An increase in the concentration of fog also resulted in a decrease in visibility on Wednesday. In the capital and its surrounding areas, the weather was clear in the morning, but it was foggy in the evening.
