NEET Controversy: Two other accused arrested for removing the innerwear of NEET girl students

Proceedings are on in Kollam, Kerala for asking girl students to remove their innerwear for admission during the NEET exam. Now two other people have been arrested in this case. Both of them were involved in overseeing the examination at the respective center. Let us inform you that earlier the police had arrested five accused related to this incident. That is, now the total number of arrested accused has gone up to 7.

According to the information, the police have told that the two accused arrested on Thursday are the NEET supervisor and examination coordinator. Earlier, five women posted on examination duty were arrested on Tuesday. Five women posted on examination duty were arrested on Tuesday. Of these, three work for an agency hired by the National Testing Agency (NTA), while two work for the private educational institution in Ayur where the incident took place.

 

NTA has constituted a committee

 

The NTA in its notice has stated that as per the instructions of the Ministry of Education, a fact-finding committee has been constituted to investigate the matter in detail. This committee will go to the spot and check the facts. At the same time, the committee will also submit its inquiry report within four weeks. Earlier, the NEET examination center superintendent said that the complaint is fabricated and had been filed with the wrong intention. At the same time, the NTA had said that the center superintendent and independent supervisor as well as the city coordinator of the Kollam district have stated that they have not received any such incident from the respective center of NEET examination.

 

The girl narrated her ordeal

 

The student, who appeared in the examination, told that the security personnel had instructed all the girl students to take out their innerwear. Only after doing so was he allowed to appear for the examination. The girl said, in one row some girls were wearing hooked bras, while in the other row girls were wearing bras without hooks. After this, the security personnel asked him to take off his bra and put it on the table. All bras were tied together. After the examination, they were instructed to take off their bras and leave, the student said. The security personnel said, take your bra in your hand, there is no need to wear them.
