Nepal Plane Crash: 'Nobody was taken alive from the accident site', Nepal Army issued a statement

Nepal Army spokesman Krishna Prasad Bhandari said, 'We have not pulled out anyone alive from the crash site in Nepal plane crash'. Please inform that the search operation will be conducted again today. Giving information on Monday, the Nepal Army confirmed that no one was evacuated alive from the site of the plane crash in Pokhara city.

 

68 killed in Nepal plane crash

A major plane crash took place in Pokhara, Nepal on Sunday, in which 72 people, including five Indians, are feared dead. Please tell that the 72 seater plane of Yeti Airlines crashed in Pokhara, 205 km from Kathmandu. Just 10 seconds before landing, the plane hit a hill, after which the plane caught fire and fell into a ditch.

 

Nepal's Prime Minister called an emergency meeting

After the plane crash in Pokhara on January 15, Nepal's Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has called an emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers. Dahal has directed the country's Home Ministry, security personnel, and all government agencies to carry out immediate rescue and relief operations. Explain that the Nepali authorities have entrusted a special commission with the task of investigating the cause of the accident. The report is expected in 45 days.

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief and prayed for the bereaved families of the Nepal plane crash. PM Modi tweeted, 'Extremely saddened by the tragic air crash in Nepal in which precious lives including Indian citizens have been lost. In this hour of grief, my prayers are with the bereaved families. At the same time, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar also expressed grief over the incident and expressed condolences to the victims. He tweeted, 'Deeply saddened to hear about the plane crash in Pokhara, Nepal. Our condolences are with the affected families.

 

Four Russian citizens also died in the air crash

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal said the flight carrying 68 passengers included five Indians, four Russians, and one Irish national. The statement said, 'Nepali Army, Police Force, Airport Rescue, and Fire Fighting and Nepal Police will be informed about the rescue operation.
