Noida: The city is returning, Samsung starts work with 3000 employees

Life is slowly coming back on track in Noida battling the Corona virus. Work started at Samsung Electronics plant in Sector 81, Noida. The company started functioning on Friday with 3000 workers. All these employees were brought to the factory by buses.

 

 

The government has approved the operation of the factory in Lockdown-3 with limited staff. The 35-acre factory was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and South Korean President Moon Jae-in. It is the world's largest mobile manufacturing unit.

 

 

200 corona patients in district, 109 fully recovered

On Thursday, 10 corona patients were also found in Gautam Buddha Nagar. 5 of them are hospital workers. The total number of patients in the district has now crossed 200. 109 patients have returned home after beating Corona. Earlier 19 medical staff including 3 doctors have been infected with Corona.

 

 

Greater Noida 417 companies got permission to work

The Greater Noida Authority on Thursday allowed 195 companies and 51 builders to work. A total of 417 companies and 92 builders have been given permission to work here. Dedicated Freight Corridor and Oppo Mobile Company have also been allowed to operate. On Thursday, 668 companies and 55 builders applied for work. Four applications from builders were rejected.

 

 

Noida Authority rejected 1500 applications

Noida Authority had applications from around 2200 industries, till Wednesday 620 NOC of operations was given and 1500 applications were canceled. At the same time, 17 builder projects, and 34 institutions have been allowed to operate.
