The New Year 2025 has started with great enthusiasm in the country and across the world. After welcoming the New Year, people are congratulating each other. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reflecting the mood of a confident India, wished the people of the country a Happy New Year in a post on the internet media. He also recalled the remarkable progress and changes achieved in 2024.

 

PM Modi wrote in an emotional message.

 

Calling it a "poetic celebration", PM Modi said in his post shared on X, "My India is growing." In an emotional message, PM Modi wrote, "From space to land, from railways to runways, from culture to innovation, 2024 is recorded as a year of unprecedented progress and transformation for India!"

 

We are moving forward with confidence in 2025 - PM Modi.

 

PM Modi said, "This is a poetic celebration as we are moving forward with confidence in 2025." PM Modi shared a 2.41-minute video animation in the New Year post, which depicted the achievements made in the year 2024.

 

The video includes the country's space launch, super-computing, growth in defense manufacturing, growth in the aviation industry, and infrastructure marvels like the underwater Howrah Maidan Metro, Rameswaram Rail Bridge, and Vande Bharat Rail. The increase in the number of medical colleges and better health facilities for the public, Atal Pension Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas, the first temple in Abu Dhabi, and the implementation of three new criminal laws were also highlighted.

A virtual report card of the government's performance in 2024, the animation clip gave special information about the economy. Apart from the foreign reserves of $700 billion, it also showed the country's emergence as the third largest power in Asia and lifting 248.2 million people out of poverty. PM Modi, who celebrated his birthday on September 17 with military personnel, has wished the countrymen a Happy New Year.

 

Special arrangements were made for the New Year in metro cities.

 

Many events were organized in various cities to welcome the New Year. Where people started gathering a day before. Extensive security arrangements were made to ensure that there is no problem in the New Year celebrations. The cities were bustling till late at night.
