Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said on Wednesday that the death of six people has been confirmed in the violence in Haryana's Nuh district. Those who lost their lives in the Nuh incident include two home guards and four civilians. The Chief Minister has appealed to the people to maintain peace in the state.

CM Manohar Lal said that the situation is normal in Nuh and surrounding areas, and security agencies have been put on alert mode. Security has been tightened in the districts of Faridabad, Palwal, and Gurugram adjoining Nuh in the wake of violence between two groups on July 31.
Fresh violence was reported from several other districts of Haryana on Tuesday. Incidents of violence took place at Badshahpur and Sohna Road in Gurugram. Section 144 has been imposed in Nuh for 48 hours from Monday midnight and mobile internet services have been temporarily suspended in the district.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Varun Dahiya (Crime), Gurugram today said that all schools, colleges, and workplaces are functioning normally. There is no restriction on the movement of traffic. Internet is also on. I appeal to all not to pay heed to rumors on social media. If anyone wants to give any information, he can contact on the helpline number '112'.
On the other hand, however, Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that the violence in the Nuh district could have been avoided if the organizers of the yatra had informed the district administration about the yatra. On the incidents of violence in the state, Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) leader Chautala said strict action would be taken against those found guilty.
