Australia on Thursday defeated South Africa by 3 wickets in a breathtaking second semi-final of the World Cup 2023 and entered the final for the eighth time. Australian captain Pat Cummins said that his team is eagerly waiting for the final against India.

The final match of the World Cup 2023 will be played between India and Australia on 19 November at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. More than 1 lakh 30 thousand spectators will reach the stadium to watch this match. India defeated New Zealand by 70 runs in the semi-finals and secured entry into the finals for the fourth time.

What did Pat Cummins say

The stadium will be packed with spectators. Perhaps the audience's support will be one-sided, but we will enjoy it. The good thing for us is that some of our players have been part of the finals earlier also. The 2015 World Cup was the highlight of our career, so now we have to play the final in India, for which we are eager.

the spin was predictable

Pat Cummins said that he had an idea that the spin on the pitch would be tremendous. He said, "We thought there would be a spin on the pitch. We did not expect that Starc and Hazlewood would have to bowl so early. It was cloudy and the ball was also swinging, so we were not disappointed.

Made improvements in fielding

Australian captain Pat Cummins also said that his team has improved a lot in its fielding level. Cummins said, “We talked about this a lot. Our fielding was a bit bad at the beginning of the tournament. David Warner can be seen diving even at the age of 37. We have improved a lot.
