OLA Uber Merger: Ola co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal has clarified that Ola and Uber are not going to merge. He has termed these reports as rubbish. There was a discussion about cab service providers Ola and Uber that both can merge. However, even before these reports gained strength, Bhavish Aggarwal has made it clear that nothing like this is going to happen and that such news is just rubbish.

Bhavish Aggarwal has written in one of his tweets that all this is absolute nonsense. We are a profit-making company and right now our growth is going well. If any other company wants to leave the market, that is welcome. We are not going to merge with any company.

By the way, Uber has also dismissed those reports that said that the company has had a meeting with Ola executives and talks have been held regarding the merger. However, Uber has denied these reports. On the other hand, all kinds of speculations started when the news related to the merger came into the media.

Cab service provider companies Ola and Uber, both these companies are facing difficult situations these days. Actually, after the Corona period, there have been many changes in the market. Apart from this, Ola has had to shut down its grocery business. At the same time, Uber has also had to sell its food provider service Uber Eats to Zomato. Concessional offers like cashback or low fares given in the quest to get more customers have also worsened the condition of these companies.

In such a situation, it was said in some media reports that both these companies can merge soon. However, Uber is facing more challenges than Ola at the moment. In Asia, Uber's market is limited to Japan and India only. In some countries, it has even had to stop its services. Corona has also affected their business.
